I'd like to suggest a few basic guidelines for the forums, conforming with the standards: 1. Please do not discuss religion or politics on the forum. I have used internet for almost ten years and during this time 99% of the conversations I've witnessed online about these subjects have eventually led into someone's feelings being hurt. 2. If you are giving NEGATIVE feedback on someone else's work, do it in a polite and constructive way, AND make sure you are logged on the forum using your personal username and password. This is the best way to avoid confusion and prevent nameless insults being thrown around. Logging on is the online equivalent of signing your name to show you are ready to take responsibility for your words. 3. Be patient with the people who have less expertise than you in some field, be it computers or a language or anything. Also, be patient with the people who have more expertise than you do. 4. If someone does not want to answer a personal question, remember they have every right to their own privacy. 5. If you notice a problem of any kind, notify the staff (admins & moderators) about it. 6. If you want to know something, ask. There is no such thing as a stupid question. We are building the forum based on everyone's feedback. 7. Can you think of any other useful guidelines? Suggest anything you think is important on a forum like this!
